Over the last few years we have been transitioning our small holding from using fossil fuels to horse power of a different kind. We already have a home made wind generator, solar panels and are signed up to green electricity for the pottery but we wanted to take an extra step.
Three years ago we came across a filly who's mother had been killed up on Exmoor and Trio came into our lives!! She is a slightly unconventional mix of Clydesdale x Exmoor and certainly has the Exmoor character. During the next few years we found her half brother Freddie and this dynamic duo have been expertly trained by the amazing Mike & Ellie at Hitchin Farm to work together as a pair.
